While at the hotel/casino, our room did not have a directory. After attending a event at the convention center, I asked the room attendant if she could get us one and she promptly delivered one to our room. I sat on the bed to look at the restaurant selections. As I turned the page, my hands touched a filthy used condom stuck between the dining pages of the directory. My husband made several calls asking for the manager for an hour while I was in the bathroom washing my hands since I had several paper cuts on my hands from the day before. My husband was completely blown off and never did get to speak to a manager, but the front desk offered us a free dinner an hour later as we were checking out after one night. Needless to say, we turned it down and went home. Anyway, now I am freaked out about that condom and that I touched it with those paper cuts on my hands. All I think about is STDs and HIV, etc.
