Going on a trip to Laughlin for a gambling vacation. Do you think we will enjoy this place?

We plan on going on a casino junket in early December with Sun Country Airlines. We still be staying at Don Laughlin's Riverside. We have some questions: 1) How are the temperatures in Laughlin in early December? 2) Are most of the casinos within walking distance (walking is not an issue for us per se, as long as it's not too hot outside) 3) Is the atmosphere more laid-back than, say, Las Vegas? (this would be a plus for us) 4) Are there are any casinos there with machines that still pay out in coins rather than tickets? 5) Which casino has the best buffet? 6) Are there any convenience stores within walking distance of the casinos? 7) Which casino(s) has five-draw nickel poker machines?

I read the article "Bailed-out Wells Fargo plans Vegas casino junkets". The top executives are taking a vacation. "Wells Fargo, once among the nation's top writers of subprime mortgages, has booked 12 nights at the Wynn Las Vegas and its sister hotel, the Encore Las Vegas beginning Friday" What are you opinions about it?
