Im going to the casino..how much money should I bring?

Ok so for New Years my girlfriend and I have decided it would be a good idea to go to Casino Niagara(Ontario) and gamble (of course). We are meeting some friends there. How much money should I bring....as I may be the only one gambling heavily...would 200-300 be enough? or too little? I also dont want to loose alot after drinks and dinner and stuff could get costly... i also know its my own decision but im new to this site (its pretty fun, Im bored) and i just wanna hear some opinions.
