The story is going to be in different chapters, and it's designed to be long.. so.. i'm trying to accurately brain storm while i have the time.
Basically, the story is, you fall in love with a criminal. the criminal you fall in love with is on a team, that's out for revenge on a mob who betrayed the leader of that team. in the beginning, you don't have a clue what's going on, until the man you fall in love with later explains.
But here's my idea, i was thinking the story could take place at a casino in las vegas. it's your first time there, and you're gambling the night away, when the casino finally gets robbed. a wild heist takes place, and you're on your way to leave, only when you're snatched up by the robbers. they take you back to their safe spot, and explain everything to you. they decide on keeping you held hostage so they have something to use against the police and whatnot. does that sound like a good start to you, getting snatched up at a casino? or does it need to be done in an entirely different enviroment?

I know that in todays world you have to be at least 21 to even be in a casino in Las Vegas. But I believe there was a time when children were allowed on the casino floor but obviously could not gamble. Am doing a research paper on the history of Vegas and was wondering if anyone could tell me when those laws may have come into play.
