I twisted my ankle in the parking lot of a Casino in Laughlin, NV... there was a pothole that was not clearly visible in the dark conditions (not adequately lighted in that area). The pothole was as deep as a quarter. I reported it to security the next morning after waking up with a swollen ankle, they came up and looked at my ankle, they photographed it. I photographed the pothole. They said that they keep video recordings for about a week, and will release them only to a lawyers subpoena. I had pain and swelling for 2 days really bad, now on the 3rd day and it is starting to feel a little better. have not seen the doctor yet, just got home. Should I sue? how much? do you feel I would be successful?
I was hoping to settle for the casino to comp me a trip back down and a promise to fill the potholes in their parking lot so an 80 year old lady doesn't trip and fall and break a hip and die. I am not seeking a large windfall, I just want my trip repeated without the inconvenience of half of the trip being in pain and not being able to do as much as I wanted to do.

Ok so here goes....My boyfriend and I were supposed to go to stay at the Avi Resort and Casino in Laughlin, NV with my parents. We had our own money for food and all and payed for our room and such. THEN...I had to pay my STUPID credit card because of a mishap and now we are pretty short on money with barely enough to cover 3 days of food when were supposed to be there for 5. My parents offered to cover the rest but I feel SO guilty even asking because they have given me so MUCH! Please help.

My friend won $8,000 dollars on the slots. She had 2 forms of ID and knows her social security number by heart but her card was in a filebox at home. She couldn't collect her winnings. They said it's a Nevada Gaming Law. It just didn't sound right to me.
