I have this 10 year old laptop at home and I go on online games, free games, yahoo! answers (obviously) youtube ect. it is really old and its slow but its just a fun laptop not a work one, I just got some more internet for my laptop and have been going on different game sites, I then just got this blocked call on my phone and they were indians saying I have viruses and germs infecting my computer and destroying the motherboard they said the germs and viruses were on my computer because of going on to different sites, at the time I was really confused and they told me If I continue to do this my laptop will never turn on again, as I followed thier directions they wanted me to connect to an online technitian and let him clean my laptop, I was supposed to give them my phone number, email address and name, I didnt and said "will this cost me any money?" they kind of hesitated and said we dont know, we will tell you after the technician has finished fixing your laptop I then asked what will this cost and they said around 200-300 dollars. I said to them "I cant pay for it because I'm only 14" they would'nt leave me alone and kept calling after I hung up, what do they want from me It's an old laptop I dont care about it and after I rejected them they now won't leave me alone, I told my mum and she said they just want money from me, I dont know I'm really confused and should I be worried please help.
