Hello.
I just downloaded The Hunter from the internet (legal free online hunting game). I couldn't run the installer because something was wrong. So I downloaded the game on another computer, where I installed it and then copied back to my computer.
When i try to start it I get a message:
Cannot connect to server!
Start the game from www.thehunter.com
I go there and do as I was supposed to:
1. The hunt
2. Go hunting
A screen appears, where i select my starting location. I do that and select Hunt now! Then the screen flashes and i get the same screen again, and on the tab says Connecting...
I wait, but nothing happens. Then i refresh, but still nothing.
A settings menu was supposed to pop up, but nothing.
I have a regular internet speed 4mb/s
Windows 7
3Gb RAM
Intel core2 duo E4500 2.20Gh
GeForce 8500 GT
In other words, i meet the minimum requirements.
How do i get the computer to recognise the game so that the internet can open it as it was supposed to?
