I had not read much of this case till now, for the simple reason that I gave up on newspapers long time ago and was without internet access for a few weeks. And the truth is that anything related to crimes against children, I rather not even read much about. I did hear vere stupid commentaries by none other than Glenn Beck on radio and probably even some things mentioned by Limbaugh....I'm not a fan of these two, is just that there is nothing else besides the two of them and sports on English language radio and I basically can no longer take radio in Spanish any more!
Anyhow. Reading about this horrific case on internet right now, I cannot for a second understand or comprehend the attitude of everyone involved. Clearly Sandusky, as are all people who do such crimes against children, extremely sick and should not only go to jail but should have therapy mandated by a judge for the rest of his life so he can understand how sick he really is. But, beginning with the principal that supposedly calls the mother in tears, only to "politically correct" tell her if she really wants to proceed with this in view of the ramifications. And the assistant coach McQueary, going about as if walking on eggshells, telling the head coach and whoever else instead of going straight to the police...By the way I didn't read the PDF because it didn't open. Besides, I don't want to mortify myself further!
But, and knowing for a fact that the police in most cities large cities of the U.S. are as if numb by how much filth they see, and really don't act they way they should, such as by refusing to write up proper police reports, etc. And, for those who don't know it, there is constant bickering between police depts. and district attorneys' office. Still I would suppose in a case involving such crime against a child, there should have been reports written up.
But what really freaks me out is the fact that these huge places, such as universities, Disney World, and even the Native American casinos where suicides and other deaths have occurred have their own police!!!! And by the time any real authority is informed, so many rules and regulations have been broken each way, that many of the culprits don't even go to jail.
This brings me to this: How can the U.S. go about easily bringing down governments--which are real or perceived dangers to others in the area (and never really to the U.S. area because most of these countries are thousands of miles away--how can they do this, but at the same time have such disgustingly poor justice system in their own country and not intend doing anything about it?
I wish to ask the two Native Americans who've answered to please forgive me, I didn't want to offend anyone. I believe my reasoning for mentioning all these "policed places" is because the rest of society in the U.S. doesn't, appear to have the same rights. For example if what Sanduzky did was done by a non-big shot university guy, well everything would have been so different. I probably cannot explain myself right, but what I mean to say is that the U.S. justice system has given way too much leeway to private companies or private entities, as long as they are super wealthy and thus super powerful....And the more I look at my own question the more I notice I should not have included Native American casinos; after all those apparently fall within the nation of Native Americans and only reason I included it is because of a couple of instances in South Florida in which it appeared that some suicides were not handled properly, one of which was that of Anna Nicole Smith. At least going by t
