I am looking for a certain DS game in which you get a dog (you pick & name at start) and play as a virtual character (a girl) and you get three save slots... I know I'm not giving much info but could you please give me ideas of the name? (It's not nintendogs or dogz)

My friends birthday is comming up at the end of this month (she is 12). She still loves to play with her Nintendo DS, not the DSi. What are some good games that you think she would enjoy. Currently i believe that she has New Super Mario, My Sims Party, and Mario Kart. Anything along those lines. Thanks. Looking for something in the cheaper range, but still a good game.

Today I purchased a brand new Nintendo DS game. I put the game in the card slot and turned on the machine. I then used my stylus to click on the game to start it but an error message came up. All my other games for the DS work fine. Do you think I should take the game back to where I got it from or try again to load it up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
