I'm looking to get an inexpensive 1969 Camaro Z/28, blue with white stripes, 1/32 scale slot car to use on a slot car race track. The problem is that I've only seen 1 or 2 and the prices are outrageous! There's no way I'm paying 100 dollars for a slot car. Any help would be appreciated.

We have a battery operated, child's slot-car race track. It's not an expensive item but still we wondered about whether we could try a little magic to get it running again... it is always covered up and it's in mint condition, new batteries and full contact between all track parts. The cars still light up, so we're getting the juice through... but after a summer of non-use... BOTH cars, just won't budge... any suggestions to problem solve?
